Linux is a clone of unix operating systems. this operating system is the most prominent example of free software and open source communication and development. all of its source code can be freely modified, used and redistributed by anyone to fit what the user needs.it has a GNU general public license. it is know for its great servers and its diffrent hardware, from embedded devices and mobile phones to supercomputers. many of the well-know companies today rely on linux.it is widely know for it portiblity and it has been copied and modiefied by many other diffrent companies.
